Ok, so the road block is out of the way.
Could someone please tell me what can be done about this? is it not just a cultural phenomenon? A zero sum game?

I'm not sure why it isn't said more, but its not white privilege. You think a white kid with two poor druggie parents has an advantage over a black kid with same type of parents? The "privilege" is way more financial than race related.
