Crohns is commonly associated with arthritis and osteoporosis
Crohns is a bowel disease what does it have to do with bones and joints?
But it honestly depends on how severe it is. My Brother has it and he leads a pretty normal life and is very active.

Crohn's simplest definition is chronic inflammation of the GI tract. But this inflammation is due to a problem in your T cells. These altered T cells can cause moderate to mild problems elsewhere in the body. So it is not isolated and confined to the gut. Most people with Crohn's have this increased inflammation manifest itself in the bones and joints which is why if you go watch Dell's press conference from today, he tries to pronounce "ankylosing spondylitis" as another diagnosis for Asik. Which again is another medical term for a disease with inflammatory arthritis affecting the spine and large joints.
