Wow, the ignorance in the statement is staggering. Maybe you should read the Constitution instead of waving the flag for a change.

The First Amendment gives all Americans, including rich football players the right to say whatever they want. It also explicitly prohibits the government from banning or punishing people for thei speech. So no, the President speaking in an official capacity has no business "suggesting" citizens in a So called free country should be punished because he disagrees with the methods of protest
