Fair enough - the assertion that they were music for "14 year old boys" - I mean this was the '70s rock and roll - AOR and all that. But, I think, lyrically, there was a lot of meat to Shooting Star and even the song Bad Company. Certainly told more of a story than the average AC/DC, ZZ Top or Van Halen song did.
I don't get very deep into their catalog, but Bad Company has 6 to 8 legitimate classic rock hits and, I'm probably alone, but I liked a couple of the Holy Water tracks without Rodgers.
