Helps the young mind develop to teach another language. Works different parts of the brain.
I agree immersion at a young age is the ticket.

I was in the French Immersion program from Kindergarten until 8th grade.I then took 3 more french courses in high school. While I do love the fact that i'm bilingual, and helping preserve the french culture, it has never afforded me any job advancements or opportunities simply because the language is dying here.
I do agree however, that Spanish is such a practical language for people to know at these times, and a Spanish immersion program would greatly benefit our youth.
