NBA revenue has exploded. Their talent is at or near an all-time high. The league has adapted to the internet and social media better than other major American sports. The NBA is set to take up the slack of the NFL's decline (whether it is CTE, failure to keep up in social media, or politics) as it comes.

Soccer is the worst of all major sports. The US will never accept it mainstream. And Americans will get rid of the NFL and turn to hockey if needed.
Soccer will NEVER be big in America. It has stupid rules that only the meek, the mild, and the stupid would appreciate. Plus, there's all the flopping and faking.
