Today it's the National Anthem, tomorrow it's rewrite the Constitution. That is the goal.

Make no mistake about it, the Left wants to get rid of the First and Second Amendments and the Electoral College. The Department of Defense will become a shell of it's former self if they keep it at all. Welcome to the USASSR.

Stop worrying, trump accomplished a lot by putting Neil Gorsuch in the supreme court.

But wait, I though Trumpers were up in arms over kneeling? Leftists don't seem to be.

And the establishment of a National Police.

Dude leftists have been violently oppressing conservative views for the past few years. We just don't want politics in sports for the most part.

Sure you are.
You're up in arms over them being up in arms.
We could do this shite all day.

What does that have to do with the original post?

OP said leftists want to get rid of the first amendment but wasn't it Don himself who said players should be fired for exercising their right to free speech? It's just an inconsistent point of view, which seems to be tolerated on this board. So sad.

It takes decades of hammering Americans with propaganda to create statements like this. Here we have it, a population that, despite all the evidence, believes that the dems hate war and the Republicans love the 1st and second amendment, or that the constitution has been a relevant document in our lifetime.
Propagandists are spanking it to this comment.

Judas Priest. Another one who doesn't understand free speech or the First Amendment.
Were you people out sick the day they taught civics in Civics class?
If your reading comprehension skills are up to it, obtain a copy of the Bill of Rights, read the First Amendment and tell me what the phrase "Congress shall make no law abridging..." means to you.

Ah. I see the problem. You are ignorant as to whom the 1st amendment protects your from.

No I get it. Speaking freely doesn't give you immunity against social or employment related consequences. Which is why I'm fine with the idea that owners can do what they need to do.
However, when the POTUS creates a narrative of retaliation against peaceful protest, doesn't it send a message against the concept of free speech ?

I just think it's hilarious to watch Trump troll progressives into defending millionaires that protest the national anthem.

No.
It reinforces the notion that free speech can have consequences. Otherwise, there is no truly free speech at all.

Add the Russian collusion BS and it makes America vulnerable as we are even more divided. Like frogs slowly boiling in a pot thinking it's a hot tub.
