Think about it- if you are serving the country as an armed serviceman or first responder, why do you put your life at risk for these athletes, the NFL, and the enablers that openly disrespect your service? This is not going to end well.

Most don’t serve for those reasons anymore.

I had a cop in a well known speedtrap zone that was smart enough to admit he was no fool. I was in my scrubs on way home from working a swing shift about midnight on a Friday or Saturday. Cop handed me back license and insurance without as much as checking the expirations and said: "I'd hate to look up in the ER or OR and see you standing there saying how you remember me, drive safe, g'night".

Smart cop that was.

To be fair I like to think these folks are above pettiness like this BS.

Because it is your chosen profession to serve ALL Americans.

I don't agree with the kneeling because I don't know what they want. I'm no pissed about it because it is an expression of free speech. Our sudden fear of free speech from both sides is the truly troubling thing. If we don't get back to the point where we can disagree while defending those with disagree with right to free speech we are fricked. And it goes both ways. White supremacists have the right to assemble and peacefully protest just like those who oppose their ideas. Violence can't be tolerated but we don't have any right not to be offended....we do have the right to say what we wish no matter how stupid it is.
