did she say that someone kept voting against her rather than just promoting another guy? She was just their version of Merlin, that was why Merlin put on the suit at the end. He didn't have the chance before and was going to when he could (that we know of).

I hate that Merlin went down at the end though, he was a great character and I would think that a very advanced tech guy with great morals would be a tough get in today's age. I think Mark Strong probably didn't want to be attached to a long running series like this could be and went out like a boss.

she mentioned that she kept putting her hat in the ring everytime a new spot opened up but Whiskey kept voting against her

I hate that too, but the way he went out was pretty entertaining. Had me singing "Country Roads" on the drive back home.

It didn’t make sense why they had to kill off Merlin either. He sacrificed himself to take out 6 guards which is nothing considering Harry and Eggsy took out like 3 times that many with ease in the following fight.

I also don’t think Roxy is dead. She knew she was about to be hit and they showed her trying to get out. She probably has some bunker somewhere.
