Nutrients and sediment = good for a tidal swamp or marsh

The State, LDWF, etc. desperately need to start using Maurepas as an assimilated wetland system. Pipe is cheap, and Baton Rouge/suburbs could all discharge to Maurepas. It would completely save that place. Problem is large scale mechanical plant firms like CH2MHill et al have political pull and fight assimilation at every step.
