I consider the dark days to be when fans get excited about Shreveport bowl like when we beat Saban up there. I was there on the field happy as F..k chanting "1 more year to Eddie K."
We have not truly competed for an SEC title since 2011/12.
I wouldn't consider it dark. But it's like night time with a full moon to me at this point.
If we would focus on the 11 other games on our schedule every year and not Bama,
We could make the playoffs in near future.
