because you're not confusing anyone by switching the tackle and the tight end or putting a receiver in motion only to go back where he started before every play.

i won't argue your point on the shifts but motion is very valuable and always has been. it can determine pre-snap if they are in man or zone. it also makes someone account for that man when you use him in end arounds/jet sweeps, quick screens/passes to him as he finishes his motion outside, etc. decoys aka ghost motion is used by NFL teams also. If you think motion is useless you have just shown TD your football ignorance. congrats.

^ This guy gets it. Motioning a player is very valuable especially at certain times/downs and keeps the defense honest. As far as switching tackles/tight ends only to have them mirror the original set, that has me scratching my head.

I never said motions were useless. He uses the same shifts and motions over and over and defenses see that. I just don't think he's using motions in the right way and it's actually keying the defense as to what we're about to do. They've been running the same plays out of those sets for three games. If I can sit there and figure out what they're doing then I'm pretty sure defensive coordinators are having a field day with it.
