Cmon bruh, I mean me personally, even if its unrealistic expectations, so be it, but I go into every football season not just thinking, but believing we are the best team in the nation with a legitimate shot at winning it all.

Sometimes adults can be told the truth, IMHO. In a certain model of the universe, they deserve to be told the truth as a sign of respect.

And if I were coaching for you, I would tell you the truth. You going to fire a cat for telling the truth?

I feel like the bashing of COE, is WELL warranted

I'm as critical of Saturday night's performance as anyone - check my posts, baw. But, to bash him for this specific point (even though I admit it's bad optics) - there might be some very good reasons - hell, the binders might have a 3-year plan, including players, coaches, improvements, policies to fix all the problems that are wrong.

We cannot let our desire for immediate gratification cloud the issue that the team has fundamental problems if we have so many OL and WRs leaving offseason the past 2 years we have a problem. The issue that Malone and Weathersby are not only our best tackles, they're our only tackles.

That Tolliver looks worse every snap, after looking great as a young player. That Guice is clearly not 100% and the entire offense is anchored off his being "the man" - that we have a kid that couldn't see the field at Purdue starting at QB for the second season.

Those problems are not solved by hiring a coordinator and using pre-snap motion, baws. That's the cold, hard, brutal, unpleasant truth on this Monday.
