The professional medical and psychiatric community doesn't suggest less food for anorexics.

They don't suggest that people with body integrity identity disorder to remove a limb.

Why does the majority suggest to their patients that it is possible to be a female with XY chromosomes and male with XX chromosomes. It seems like professional enabling to me. Probably because they can get a few hundred thousand people on a lifetime of hormone therapy and office visits. That's a nice cash flow.
