Your positivity is great but misplaced. This team is very young, undisciplined, and very thin on both lines. Let's just take a snap shot at the SEC West on defense. You have Bama and Auburn which look to have some of the best defensive front seven units in football. Now look at the SEC West on offense. You have Bama(run heavy), Ole Miss(pass heavy), and, potentially, an Auburn team that can improve dramatically. That leaves LSU fighting for the scraps of last place in the west with aTm and Ark. And we aren't even considering UF(nasty defense) and UT(prolific running team) who play four quarters of tough football on both sides of the ball.

Ultimately, I think LSU improves and makes games against Auburn, Bama, Ole Miss, UF, and UT competitive, but it will be the attrition of the game that beats us every time because of the lack of depth on the Lines. Hell, Syracuse may give us a run for the money.

There are 2 teams I have watched every week for the last 25 years: us and syraclose (due to a bullspit talking orangewoman fan buddy of mine). Syraclose HAS NO CHANCE of beating us this sat., ESPECIALLY after how we played at msu. This still doesn't change the fact orgeron has to go. We just have to wait awhile to fire him so we don't scare off potential replacements.
