Because only teams that beat Bama have a passing game that can force those big LBs and DL men to tire out because they are running so much. Pro set I formation teams do not beat Bama under Nick Saban all that often.

correct sir...
i find it funny that idiots say you have to run to set up the pass... either can setup either.. its not a rule one way or the other.. you try to find the best matchups and you exploit them. you find their weaknesses and you attack them.. or a combination of such.. variety is the spice of life.. and football as well.. I love it that we run so many different things.
