Nope, not me. What's all the fuss about? It's a game they're playing with you since you don't use even half of the features. $1000 bucks for what? Another status symbol I guess.

1) They needed to limit demand somehow since they couldn't get enough OLED screens to make this just the new model at the same price.
2) Apple likes to charge it's customers as much as they are able to.
3) They actually have added some nifty camera tech on the front of the phone. Considering how much this board skews to adult men, most here won't see the value in it. For people that like posting selfies, especially SnapChat filter selfies, ie kids and women, this will be the phone to have for a while.
