Wouldn't a more effective strategy be to not post your plan on Twitter? Hard to pat yourself on the back when no one knows your plan, though.

Not sure how many people with warrants follow the sheriff but I doubt there are many.

Why are leftists so hell-bent on ignoring the law? Do they really want anarchy?

No the PLAN is to protect victims of the storm. Broadcasting this helps that. They decide not to go to the shelters.

If your #1 priority was to capture thugs, sure. This sheriff's # priority, right now, is to protect the vulnerable people in those shelters, with a force that will be stretched to the maximum....maybe (hopefully) his tweet will scare off some people that have proven they can't play within the rules of society.

They don't want criminals in the shelters. Makes sense when you think about it for half a second.

I think he is more concerned with not having sexual predators and criminals with warrants at the shelters, as opposed to arresting them at this time. I agree with this.

However they are not going to turn anyone away without an ID. They are just not going to bring their ID with them if they want to go to a shelter
