It seems that the current environment is creating confusion over first amendment rights and our obligations as citizens to provide venues for despicable speech. A lot of that confusion is related to Antifa's expansive definition of "nazi" and "white supremacy" to include simply conservative thinkers. The reaction by some on the right (the less sophisticated) seems to go beyond just the defense of first amendment rights for all speech to a belief in an obligation by everyone to give a platform to actual nazis and white supremacists.

Do you want to live in a world where a handful of tech companies gets to decide what is and is not on the internet? Because I don't. Whatever else white supremacy is, it is a political theory. Are you cool with websites getting deplatformed for their political stance? Because I'm not.
