The American standard of living comes first from the producers in this country. The federal government, and the bureaucracy that uses the power of the federal government to maintain it's own power and relevance contributes almost nothing to the standard of living in this country.

I don't want war any more than the next person, especially war with fellow Americans, but I'd much prefer it to being ruled as a subject by a tyrannical bureaucracy.

and the current status quo is that our government allows the producers to continue to grow that standard of living
