I am open minded about this stuff. History is always changing as we discover more stuff. There is a lot out there we have discovered that cannot be explained in our understanding of history as it is now.
For instance, do you really believe that Puma Punku was built by the "allegedly" same stone aged natives that were found in the New World following Columbus?
The same people who never had a horse until the Spanish came to the New World and were still using bow and arrows?
If you believe that then I think you are a closed minded sheep.
History, Science, Politics and Religion should always be questioned and challenged.
Aliens, Bigfoot? I don't know. But any new knowledge that may shed some light on things we do not understand is good. If it can't be disproven, then it could become accepted History.

Where did you get the idea that pre-Columbus civilizations were dumb? They were limited by technology, yes, but not by imagination.
For example, we know that fairly sophisticated financial contracts were being written around 3000 B.C. This is preserved in clay tablets from about that time.
They weren't dumbasses and nobody aware of research on the topic thinks they were.
