Why are you assuming that this is an out-of-equilibrium price shite? Couldn't it equivelently be an equilibreum shift due to a shifting supply curve?
Maybe the reason that WF can now cut their food prices is that Amazon offers distributional advances that make providing the same quantity and quality of food cheaper, thus increasing the supply. Increasing supply leads to a decrease in price and an increase in quantity demanded, but not an increase in demand.
Not sure why so many people seem to have their panties in a wad over cheaper food. I'm no fan of Bezos himself, but this seems like a pretty clear cut example of the benefits of capitalism.
