The point was your complaining about these guys bringing politics to work, and my point was... they didn't the owners did. You stand for the anthem on your own time "when it's played", I'm willing to bet that's not at your job. Obviously they pray in Catholic schools (I would hope so), however we're speaking about a public forum...kinda like a public school. I was just drawing the parallels where people complained about religion being forced they took it out.
No the anthem has not always been played before football games.

The anthem has been played before every Saints/LSU game for as far back as I can remember. You obviously are a history guy, tell me when the anthem was not played before the games.

No the anthem has not always been played before football games...

Interesting, I can't think of any in my neck of the woods that I played in, or attended, since the 60's, that I didn't hear the bombs bursting in air... Maybe Hillary, Barry and the millennials changed the words?
