The end makes it seem that Tyrion realizes that this new coupling (Jon and Dany) may not be a good thing.
I think he'll double cross her at the end in favor of his family.

Thought that was weird but he might just be concerned his power will be diminished with Jon at her side. Maybe he had fallen in love with her at some point.

For who? Jaime is joining their fight/team and Cersei and him hate each other..
