I was offered $9,200 at Carmax for a 3 series a few years ago. I sold it for $14,750. No chance I would get that much of a "Tax break" given the additional $$ I have to pay at a dealer OVER the value of the new(to me) car vs a private party purchase.


CARMAX REALLY!!! You prove my point idiotic move those people are biggest rip off ever. Who buy a car that has "no negotiation pricing" that is over priced anyway, also you expect those rip off artist to pay you decently for your vehicle. I'm writing a book soon on car buying for those like you be the FIRST to buy. I have numerous satisfied clients and some fun money saving stories.
