Good morning all. I got my little one moved into the dorm. It all seemed pretty prisonlike. 2 key card swipes and 2 regular key uses to get into her room. Cinder block walls and her room is about 9x12.
I miss her already.

Mornin' Rhode, Hangit, Wally
Hangit, my daughter is only 3 but I dread the day I have to send her off to college.
Good luck to yours, though, in her future endeavors.

Two hours. She is in Gainesville. Traffic around campus is like BR rush hour. I did see some "House divided" License plates with FL/GA and FL/TN. I also saw a few gump plates but no LA.
After the move, she had to go to a meeting with the Engineering Dept. professors, staff, and other students. I will find out this morning how it went.

It sucked. The bad thing is that the 15 years between 3 and 18 goes by in a heartbeat.
I saw 3 boys introduce themselves to her while moving in and wanted to put my finger in their eye...about 2.5 knuckles worth. I know we did a good job raising her so it is all in her hands now.
