Resale value isn't a factor in purchasing a boat to you?

Never crosses my mind but I don't replace things every 2 or 3 years.

I bought an xpress bass boat for 14 in 09 and sold it for 10 in 17. I just wanted something new. The high resale value helped me get a better boat.

And if you're trying to "inch" your way up the boat chain, then you may be doing it right.

BTW I wasn't trying to be a dick.

2017-2009 = 8 years

I set budget on how much I felt like I should spend and I purchased a boat. I thought I would get 6 for my boat but I got 10. That was the difference between an Xpress X18 and X19. So I got a bigger boat, bigger motor (115 to a 200) and power poles.

Maybe you should consider resale values when making a purchase. Makes the "inching up" very convenient.
