I love the playoffs in baseball, especially how they are now.

Nothing should ever be taken for granted in this sport. If you have the best team I firmly believe you have to do everything in your power to make moves at the deadline and manage your roster correctly to make sure you bring home a title.

The Rangers for example have had multiple teams that were good enough and should have for sure won at least one World Series. I remember after all of our failures over the last 7 years people saying, "there's always next year."

Well, no.....there really isn't.

I like the format. I think it allows a lot of parity in the league for the most part and makes things outside of the direct players on the field, including front office and managers vital in a club's success.
