How about this, what if your defense can't get off the field? What if your offense can't find good yardage on first down? Imo BYU will have to get creative on first downs, even then, after a few series, LSU will clamp down. I've seen it from Aranda many many times. We held Jalen Hurts to 0 points at the start of the 4th quarter last year, we gave the heisman winner fits all game. Everytime they have a huge challenge this team answers.

They aren't taking BYU lightly at all. This is an LSU team who has been working all spring, summer, and fall in the humidity/heat of S Louisiana. Previously our coach would make the team go indoors on extremly hot days, not this regime, they are conditioned better than the 2011 team was. They have packed on more muscle mass then they have since most have arrived. This is going to be a totally different LSU team then what everyone saw last year @ Lambeau. This isn't Lambeau we're playing at either btw. Go check out all the games LSU has played in this stadium. We have a senior QB with highly touted freshman passers right on his heels.

Our LBs are the deepest they have been since I started watching. Same for DB position, DL is (2) deep across the board with no drop off. Actually some of the backups are more talented. Guice isn't our only RB, we have NFL TEs, WRs, and OLman. Not to mention an offensive scheme that will not be predictable. Something we haven't seen since 2007 maybe even 2006. This scheme is better then both 2006 & 2007 IMO.

We lose players to the draft every single year and with Les Miles sometimes it hurt sometimes it didn't. I would say most times it didn't. His scheme is what really hurt him. If he were still coach I would predict a very close game possibly even a loss like @ Lambeau but since he isn't here, it shall be a good game from the Tigers.

I could have taken the same play book from the end of the Les era and added 100 yards and 7-10 ppg more just by changing the play sequencing.

Cam is what did Les in. He was responsible for the offense. He didn't prepare the team to execute it properly.
