LSUAg website that should give more specific info pertaining to Louisiana and the species you should find here if thats where you are located.
Better read there than ask anyone on tigerdroppings when it comes to you or your family's health.
Dont screw around with it if you have it. Take proper precautions, especially around children, elderly, and those with prior lung disease.
EDIT: Short answer, its Dangerous, especially for high risk individuals. Thats the medical side. For the legality of what you asked, might want to consult a lawyer friend.
