re: What's your longest hiatus from the game, and how did you fare when you returned?

One time I had shoulder surgery and couldn't play or swing a club for 6 months. That's the longest I've ever gone. Due to the nature of the surgery, I had to swing easier with more control. Initially it felt like I was starting from scratch but it actually made me a better golfer.
