You are too kind. he is a manipulative, evil, ego-driven, jackass of a waste of human flesh and that is regardless of whether he is guilty of murder or not. He threw his dept into total chaos so much that the dept had to have a lawyer fulltime on their payroll to the extent that they offered the lawyer insurance and benefits.

That's money that should have gone to the people they served, not to a lawyer to defend Steven, his handling of the dept and his multiple investigations, a secretive criminal investigation and lawsuits.

Look up the minutes of the meeting of St Tam dist 12 and see the BS that had gone on under his "leadership".

I say this as someone who once cared about him and was raised with him. I called his parents Uncle Herman and Aunt Maureen and they were good people.

Maybe Nanette had enough of his BS and she knew too much for him to let her go. Poor girl, she was married to a monster.

You think she killed her dogs, set the house on fire, and then killed herself?

Yes but not in that order.

You think these types of investigations go quickly?

Probably a very tough case given the circumstances.

've heard from someone close to the investigation that it was most likely a suicide. There were two spent casings in the revolver. Usually, women fire a test shot with a pistol before committing suicide. That appears to have been the case here unfortunately.

Then wouldn't there be three spent casings?
Test shot
Dog
Self?
Unless the dog shot was the test shot. But the dog being shot tends to not jive with that theory.

Not really, if you bring in outside agencies. That is the only way your going to get a honest investigation. I wouldn't even trust the state fire marshall.

When I first heard about the fire, his name really didn't ring a bell until I spoke with my sister, who reminded me that I knew his parents from my old church days at Union Protestant Church, now Mandeville Bible Church.

Fire chief killed her. End of story.

Not saying that isnt the case but why would the fire chief kill his own dogs? That sounds like someone who didnt know the dogs and didnt want to get bit. Also, why would a fire chief, who would know better than just about anyone how much fire DOESNT cover your tracks, choose that method of concealment? I would think that person with intimate knowledge of what fire can and cant do would choose a better method of concealment like a far away, random, deep wet woods burial or a water dump.

Well he does not strike me as the sharpest tool in the shed. Also narcasists think they are smarter than everyone else. That is usually what gets them busted.

Damn Ginger tell us how you really feel

I hope that whomever did this is brought to justice. Any cop or fire marshal that would help cover up this crime for anyone is a POS
