I agree that 8-4 and 10-2 would be indicative of at least a lateral move, with potential upside. 8-4 will not pass the public perception test though...and it would be a pretty rough offseason.

9-3 is legitimately reasonable. 10-2 would be hard to argue against being on very firm ground.

For me, my concern about the coaching staff will actually be rooted in the recruiting results. If Orgeron can continue our run as a top 5 talent endpoint, then at least we know that should Orgeron ultimately fail on the sideline, the next coach will enter with a full cupboard and capable of winning right away.

My best guess is that Orgeron will have Miles like success.

You have to also factor in what Les would have done this year, which would not have been pretty.
