I can't speak on the retirement of his number thing but wanted to say that Glenn Dorsey is one of my all-time favorite players. He was a unique type of player on the D-Line that was always creating havoc in the backfield. When you look at the national awards that he received during his time at LSU, it's about as impressive as it gets.

Let's just retire every jersey from every good player we've ever had. We issue numbers with 0's and decimals for future players.

Seriously, might sound selfish, but I don't want to see those numbers retired in a way that would discourage future players from being able to wear their favorite number. Honor the number in the stadium on a ring, but leave it available.
