Heading north in morning. Usually stop at Dons but since its temp closed, where's the best boudin in Carencro? Am I better off stopping in Opelousas?

Stop in Scott. Best stop or billy's

There's a Billy's in Opelousas

you can do billys in opelousas and I also recommend rays on hwy 182 in opelousas. I like their boudin much better than billys.

Try Janise's a few miles up and right off I-10 in Sunset.

They make great sausage there. Never had the boudin

I like Janise's boudin more than Don's. It's meatier and a bit spicier. Spinach stuffed chickens are very good, as is the sausage. Every thing I have had from there is strong. My in-laws live in Opy so I'm in and out of there on occasion. Definitely worth trying.
