I know the pitfalls and the liability it would open up, that's why I want the smoking gun document.

We've had clients who opted out of UM and when they get in an accident and we go to check, they say their agent advised against it.

Maybe it's just a difference of opinion, but it happens so frequently and it's such a clear-cut issue to me that I can't help but wonder if something fishy is afoot.
