Lawrence Taylor had a bunch of legal issues concerning drugs and attempted possession resulting in him being jailed 3x and no one complained then, first ballot. Last time I checked "character" isn't a criterion the HOF uses according to their bylaws.

In many people's eyes there's a big difference between being a repeat drug offender and being a serial rapist.

pretty sure when it's criminal actions that ruin other ppl's lives instead of just your own. That absolutely factors into you getting in or not. He will NOT be mentioned for HOF for that reason.
