Saying that I need to be consistent about discrimination is just restating your own conclusion that it's always wrong. I think there are some very specific situations where certain kinds of discrimination are the lesser evil compared to, say, doing nothing to ameliorate the lingering effects of state-backed oppression.

Who decides those specific situations? What are the criteria?

I'm sure you could have found plenty of people in the US during the early 1900s who would agree with you that there are "some very specific situations where certain kinds of discrimination is the lesser evil."

There are other ways to accomplish this besides turning right back around and doing the exact same fricking thing you're trying to ameliorate.
