Well, delusion aside...they ARE going to vote on it, and will likely vote to exit. Fashionable, rational and morally justifiable; I mean the very idea of having a POTUS like Trump makes an exit the obvious option.
The Drug Cartels would be running that place within 5 years, just like Mexico.

If I remember correctly it's almost impossible for a state to leave. Who has the details? I would take the economic impact to have them out. We would rebound:
