She immediately called her out on it. She didn't have time to know whether judges were going to call it either. She immediately called foul. Which if they had been giving each other putts all day would have been cold blooded but well within the rules.
All I am saying is it would have been nice to know how they handled putts all day. Not for rules sake but for a better story.

Moon pulls the putt back as the damn ball is stopping. She looks back at her caddie who says "did you give it to her" then she calls Moon on the breach. Not sure what else she's to do if Moon yanked the putt back that quickly.

In match play, the rules official is only there to interpret rulings. Your opponent is the one to make sure rules violations are called. There's no other field to protect during a regular event.
Just curious, have you ever played in a match play tournament?

Normally, I would agree with you. However, the one thing that stops this argument dead in its tracks is the fact that they were in extra holes. Doesn't matter how putts were handled all day, that all goes out the window when there are zero holes left that can be used as a buffer.
