Serious question. When internet goes out for a day or two why do we still have to pay the full bill? Unlike electric or water where you pay by usage, internet is paid by the day. Why aren't days without service deducted from the bill?

Because why do it automatically when you can make the customer call to complain to get the days off the bill. I mean, do you really just want to give those days/cash away?

The same reason only NEW customers can get the promo deals while people who have been with Cox decades get screwed by price increases.

Call just about any cable company and they'll adjust your bill for company caused interruptions of service(outages).
