Based on his talent of course, I mean you just don't offer a kid a scholly like that unless you see the incredible potential that he has. K'Lavon Chaisson was an unknown just like this kid, he hopped out of a car and wasn't even supposed to participate in the LSU camp he was at, but did and got a scholly offer right on the spot just like this kid. The rest is history for Chaisson and I expect the same shite to happen to this kid. He's an unknown from a small La HS that I expect to have a dominant HS senior year, and then along with his LSU offer will be well known and should jump to 4 star rather easily I would say.

And DE is his defined position at the next level I would think, that's what LSU had him working at when they noticed the potential. I mean he is an athlete as you said and could play TE too if they wanted him to, but I don't expect LSU to do that with him.

I don't disagree that he's got a ton of potential. I just don't think he'll ever be a 4* in this recruiting cycle. That's not to say he's not a valuable commitment and won't be an excellent player for us. I just think there's too much ground to make up to get another star.

But...I could be wrong. I often am.
