Be there for your kids.

Teach them well

Train them in rugged individualism, success through hard work, and fleeing from the culture of victimhood. Teach them to respect their elders and take ownership of their communities.

Are these guaranteed? Of course not. But it puts you on the same path the other cultures in the country are on. The way you break the cycle is by fricking abandoning the god damn cycle.

ETA: THis advice isn't meant solely for you, volod. It appears you had a functional family experience. Having taught many at-risk black youth, that has generally been my advice to them.
