Kip seemed to be a pretty good guy for BR.

The progression for red state metro areas has been:

Republican Mayors
Then a White Democrat
Then a black male Democrat
Then maybe a black female Democrat

All of that is fine if the voters vote for them but the black mayors always purge out department leaders that are not black and replace them with people that black with race being the only consideration for the hire.

It plays out over and over.
