It's indisputable that potheads don't stop at pot AND weed and the harder drugs absolutely cost thousands of lives through the cartels that bring them over the boarder.

But "muh weed" arguments and downvotes to follow.......

Pot is a gateway drug for the dealer moreso than for the user...the shady dealers are the ones who'll try pushing the harder stuff on the more impressionable weed buyers, because it'll yield them more money on future encounters. The results would be a helluva lot different if someone could just go down to the corner store to get their smoke on...
