Just binge-watched a season of Cold Justice on Netflix, where two former prosecutors Kelly & Yolanda go from town to town helping local detectives solve decades old cold cases.

Made me think of this case, where there is a known prime suspect but local authorities don't feel there is enough evidence to make an arrest or there was a good ole boy cover-up that'll delay an arrest for 10-20 years.

One thing I've learned, even without a smoking gun, you can have a more powerful case with tons of circumstantial evidence than you can a case with DNA & no circumstantial evidence.
