I wanted to go to Mexico with our kids this summer and my husband would not allow it because of shite Iike this.

We are taking our son with us. I had similar reservations but feel ok because we are a large group,(going with friends and family) wont leave the island, wont be out after dark and he will be supervised by me or my wife at all times.

But I got to admit Im still a little nervous taking a 6 year old to Mexico because lets face it Mexicio is Mexico.

I just returned from a great trip to Dreams Playa Mujures. I was just me and my 7 year old. Never once was I worried for his or my safety. That resort in particular is behind three security walls.
You can tell that management there was aware of the stigma and would make sure to tell you the risks of leaving resort and what to lookout for
