Tyrion knows how the Starks feel about the Lannisters and what they've done at this point.
ETA: And if Varys knows that Jon Snow is now King of the North (a good possibility which how he obtains info) then they'd definitely look to Jon. Tyrion knows what kind of man Jon Snow is from his interactions with him.

I'm sure she's doing what every other person did demanding they bend the knee or face the consequences. Cersei already sent her letter to Jon.
