I have a family member (cousin) who is an addict. Has been for over 8 years. Has been to rehab once, it didn't do much to help. Went back and is supposedly doing better, but it is probably just for show since she could lose having any contact with her son.

Last year this time, I had a childhood friend OD and die.

The only thing I ever did was marijuana, ecstasy a few times. I use to sell GHB. Long story short, I start selling for someone who would go down to Mexico to get the supplies to make it himself. We were trying to "expand" before he got stopped and busted with a gallon of GHB. He went to jail for a little while, but I stopped before I ever got deep into it.
