REPEAL IT.

Democrats are on board with making "Democrat" fixes to the law
why would Republicans be expected to make "Democrat" fixes?
Because they have no "Republican" fixes that they can pass. None. As proven yesterday and today, once again.
And because they now own the law. Its failings are their failings, since 'unified Republican government' wasn't able to come close to passing something.

the system is rigged, because the ACA was so large and expansive it has a "kill switch". i already posted this
that isn't a result of GOP behavior. that's a result of DEM behavior. you don't get to pass a shitty law and then demand that your opposition only "fix" it based in your party's ideologies that led to the failures of the law itself. that's complete insanity
i mean the fact that your argument relies on annual governmental payments in the billions (increasing every year they were paid) to major insurance companies clearly shows that the ACA failed and was completely unstable.
the insidious part is that you (and others) like to claim "rates are going down" and you fail to include these subsidies in that argument. in what way is ignoring these payments rational or reflecting reality?

Responsible and healthy people will just have to endure a few thousand bucks a year in a "TAX" until this thing blows up completely.
It fricking sucks, but the GOP sucks right now.
In electing people like Ryan and McCain, the Boomer Conservatives have given us this shite.

You have started many threads statingbhow awesome it is now you post its failing

again, i'll ask you a legit question
what plans do the DEMs have to offer to "fix" the ACA that don't involve spending more money?

Progs don't live in reality. A TAX is what it is.
Maybe when more Millennials get jobs and start seeing more of their formerly disposable income pissed away on nothing, they'll start shifting away from prog policies.

If you personally can't afford health care then you should do society a favor and die.

You do when said "shitty" law has much higher approval ratings than anything Republicans can devise.

Which means lost coverage for over 10 million Americans. That's not a good headline. I don't think Republicans come out of an exchange collapse unscathed.
I thought it was 20 million? Damn, you libs need to get your numbers straight. All the numbers from the exchange are skewed towards to narrative of keeping Obamacare. They never seem to take into account the number of people that would then be able to AFFORD coverage on there own. They also don't take into account the number of businesses that would be able to provide health care for their employees again. Sure, 10 million people may lose coverage with the collapse of the exchange, but 30 million people would then be able to get coverage. And hundreds of millions would be able to choose the health care plan that is right for them rather than being forced into a plan by the government.

75% of the country want major reformations to the ACA or want it repealed completely.
The key is to look past the first paragraph when you read releases from Gallup.

that argument literally makes no sense in the context of this thread
who is promoting the ACHA? not me, and i posted as much. i said it may be worse than the ACA
if you pass a shitty law based in your party's ideology and that shitty law requires a ton of tweaking in the tone of your party's ideology as well as increased spending to become palatable, what do you expect the GOP to do? adopt Democrat ideology simply to keep the shitty law the DEMs pushed on them above water until the next round of Democratic-ideological tweaks/spending are needed?

A vast majority of the country want the ACA framework kept in place, with tweaks.
A small minority want it repealed, like you.

Come up with a better option than the "shitty" law that has broad support.

Today's announcement should be good for you then, right? You are constantly telling us how great Obamacare is. Perfect. You get to keep it. Unaltered in all its beauty. Let's see how honest you and Obama were being.

Why does anyone have to come up with an option? Let it collapse and lets go back to the old way.

how do they do this once the law has its tentacles seeped into 1/6 of our economy?
also, they have to do this while the DEM propaganda machine claims tens of millions of people are going to die if any changes are made

You're either a liar or illiterate:
LINK
U.S. Adults:
Keep ACA as is - 26%
Keep ACA with significant changes - 40%
Repeal ACA - 30%
Hell, less than half of democrats (44%) want to keep it as is.
ETA: And this poll from Gallup royally sucks. What does "significant changes" mean specifically? When you look into the methodology, there is no follow up question as to what the responder would liked changed. There were 1,023 people polled on this question. What percentage would even be able to articulate on mechanism within the ACA that needed changing?

They swore for 7 years they had a secret plan ready to do just that.
